After another long period of seeing no activity on the Sun I finally had some sunspots visible. Two new active areas were visible: 987 and 988. Area 987 had three small spots with no real detail visible. Area 988 had two spots. One was quite small but the other appeared to be of a reasonable size and had an obvious penumbra. |
