The spot in active area 953 was still visible with a single and reasonably large spot. Like yesterday the umbra appeared quite dark and a large penumbra was visible too. I could also see what appeared to be an area of similar shade to the penumbra but separate from the spot. Like yesterday I also took a photograph with my Canon EOS 400D:
