Today has been a mostly overcast day but, late on in the afternoon, the cloud started to break up a little so I used a brief clear spell to take the Solarscope out to do a quick sunspot count. |

All I could see today was active area 886 and that appeared to consist of just a single spot. No hint of 885 could be seen any more. This might have been down to the sky being quite hazy. |
