Active area 1005 was still visible today. However, unlike yesterday I could only see 1 sunspot. The darker spot from yesterday could still be seen but the fainter one wasn't visible in my equipment.

For the first time since 2008-03-31 I could see sunspots on the Sun. New active area 1005 was visible with two small spots. One was dark and immediately obvious in the Solarscope where the other one appeared rather faint and wasn't easy to spot at first.
